i honestly prefer a -50C than a slippery road. i chose it out and based from an experience... that just took place hours ago.

we had an ice rain this morning. it wasn't enough to keep us from going to school though. so yeah, no big deal... or so i thought. i realized that the outside could be so dangerous with a slippery road. the painful weather did it again.

man... it only took me one step, and i almost fell. i was literally skating my way through the bus stop, i wasn't even walking anymore. but that's not all. the bus was 20 mins. late. fortunately this morning's chilliness was absolutely bearable. i didn't get any purple fingers or anything of the sort.

while i was sitting on the bus, i was also making decisions. should i go the long way? with high chances of being late, but with a low chance of slipping, or falling. or should i go the short way? with low chances of being late, but high chances of falling and slipping (because there was a little walking to do).

guess what my stupid logic chose? yep, the second one. i completely forgot about that elevation on the road! the other people walked on it as if the ice was there for all their lives. i tried my best to go up on that little elevation but obviously, i kept falling back down. it sucked. i felt so helpless. then i tried putting my left leg on the upper part of the elevation, but i hesitated to move my right... so i fell but good thing my hands caught me or it might've been the end of my face. it took me thirty minutes before i decided to go through the deep snow road. probably add a few minutes of skating after that. then when i finally arrived at the front of the school doors, the bus that i just rode mins. ago just passed by.

GHAADD. that was an awful decision making i did back there. Mr. Marshall didn't mark me late though. it was nice of him to consider me because of the weather. (well it really was the weather's fault).


lesson for myself: NEVER go thorugh the shortcut EVER. i prefer a -50C than a slippery road! skate-walking is NOT funny at all.

i am slightly ashamed of myself for getting a very low percentage on the Filipino exam.
i got an 88. not even a 90+. GAWD. dddammmeeettt i'm Filistupid too? D:

probably cause i grew up in Manila... manila people usually knows simple Filipino. but people from other regions know simple and deeeeep filipino. dexter got a 99. kat got a 95. and i..... nevermind. idk wth happened to me back there. but i remember i got confused a lot. specially when i couldn't understand the teacher that much when she gave the oral exam. she had this regional accent. i think that was from Ilonggo. i understand Visayan accent, but not much Ilonggo. (if ever she was)  that probly was one of the reasons. and i think i failed at speaking too. I KNOW WTH. is it because i said too much "parang"?? ('like" in english eg. 'like that and like this...') and i think i only got an 81 on the reading part. that was waaaayyyyy lloooowwwwww.

but in the end... i still got the 4 credits... so i shouldn't worry about it anymore... i shouldn't.... shouldn't..........

lol. yes i hate winter with a passion. like damn it. i kinda like it when it snows tho. it's.... beautiful. XD and less cold. actually winter season is the longeeeeest season here in winnipeg. D:  even worse during night. and i have to wear tons of layers of clothes whenever i go out. the heater alone isn't enough to make my room satisfyingly warm. 僕わふゆがきらいだ! boku wa fuyu ga kirai da! まいにちわさむいさむいさむい! mainichi wa, samui samui samui! (i don't use that much kanji yet...)

lol guess what i'm studying Nihonggo! YAY. but i still have a long waaaaay to go. i only know like... 5 kanji? lolololol. and approx 10 hiragana and katakana. butbutbut i know how to count! ichi, ni, san, yon, go, roku, nana, hachi, kyu, juu, juu-ichi, juu-ni, juu-san, blablabla...
and and i know their kanjiiiii. :D weee. this coming thurs. my teacher's giving us more kanji. YAYY. :D sometimes i wish it was Thursday everyday so we could all meet everyday.

i'm working on my portfolio right now. currently drawing and practicing realism and hey, i ain't bad. :D but the hands were painful... good thing i worked one whole hour just to make it right. thank goodness it payed off. the art teacher said that maybe i could just elevate the pinky a little bit. and everything else was good.
well i'm excited to go to college. i remember we were asking so much about college to Mrs.McComber and she realized "Oh, so you really wanna get outta here now eh?" RIIIGHT. HELLYEA.

everyday is becoming an a-ok day. specially when there's Tales of Symphonia around! :D i finally got to play that frkn game. my friend Bekki lent me her gamecube and ToS so i could play it. suh-weet. ToA and ToL to go... have to... find... those games! D: but as soon as my dad gets his credit card i could just buy em off at amazon or somewhere.

Tales of Symphonia was so good. one of the best tales of games ever. the leading lady was annoying tho. glad i didn't use her by the time the other cool characters came in. yknow, she always gets kidnapped.... T_T hate that. but the rest was impressive. i got to spend 40 mins. just to get through one puzzle in a dungeon-- indeed the difficult part. this game pretty much made most of my previews days. it made me happy! XD

now if only i could get my hands on Tales of the Abyss..... can you believe that it is CAD$64.99 on Amazon Canada? ridiculous sellers... but very smart.

♥ i'm playing Okami too. i didn't like how loooooooong and sloooooowww the prologue was. it annoyed the hell out of me. but when the gameplay was finally available, i was filled with joy. playing it is so fun.

i want Tales of the Abyss so bad. D: but i couldn't find anyone who has it. i also can't find it in stores anymore... well it has been 2 years since the NA release of the game. T_T HELP ME PLZ...

i was overjoyed when i found out that ToA's being animated! :D i'm watching it right now. the episodes come out weekly so i don't have to wait so much for each epi. YEAHJOY. so far it's really good, unlike other Tales of anime. i remember when i saw the first episode of Tales of Eternia i could hardly tolerate it. it was so badly animated. Reid looked more gay than ever. and Farah was even manlier than him. i was like WTFing the whole time. one thing i should say about it... don't watch it if you like Tales of Eternia. just play the game or read the manga. ToE manga is really good btw. Tales of Phantasia has anime too. but it wasn't as bad as ToE anime. although the thing is you wouldn't be able to understand the whole thing without playing the game. XD err wait it wasn't really an anime serie. it was an OVA. gawsh sawree.
